To many new sys leaks and work in progress changelog for the next rom
13 new sys leaks...

Like I announced on xda and in the shoutbox. I'm working on the new rom. It's based on sys 28217.

But a few hours ago there were more leaks. Over at DFT about 10 new sys build were posted.

So now my question. Do you users like to have 28217 in the next rom(it's fast and working fine for now!)

Or does anyone know some more about one of the below sys leaks and will recommend to use another for the next rom:

20100201_21890_AKU5088_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_23096_AKU5302_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_28214_AKU5303_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_22001_AKU5301_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_25001_AKU5300_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_23626_AKU5302_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_24601_AKU5300_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_24001_AKU5500_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_23519_AKU5500_CHT/CHS/WWE

20100201_21626_AKU5300_CHT/CHS/WWE

Just a quick note: 28214 is WMD and is just an older version then the 28217 that i'm using at the moment. It's fast. 21890 is an old style wm 6.5 build so isn't a possibility for this rom. 23518 got threaded email and office 2010.

Here's also a new work in progress changelog. I changed some things since the latest article:

- new sys: 28217(Branche: WMD)(Timebomb fixed): Office 2010 from 23518(COM5)
- relaxion sound in rings folder now(windows)(This is my favorite alarm sound and it doesn't work in wm alarm if not in this folder)
- removed g-alarm(Isn't completely compatible and build in alarm is good enough these days)
- quickmenu removed(was only added in the sneak peek changelog)
- x2 taskmanager(6.5.* compatible) added(hold right corner to close app)
- showcase removed
- Homescreen customizer 1.5 added instead of chome
- Nuesip added
- Sipchange removed
- Icalparse updated to 0.9.5
- Callfirewall removed(I never used this app and didn't really like it)
- Opera Mobile 10 updated to Beta 2u
- Tilewave panel updated to TileWave_091105_034_R1367
- Total Commander 2.52 beta 2 added
- Pocket putty removed

Please share your opinion about the next rom sys build.

UPDATE: And we got even more builds. Seems like itje posted builds:

Build 22004.5.3.2

Build 28223

build 23102

I´m going to check the 28223 build out soon, hope it´s even faster!

Hi Christian, Using your last rom with office 2010 at the moment. That looks good. So any rom with office 2010 is good in my opinion. It should be nice if the next rom is a bit better in energy consumption. I have the feeling that the last rom I used before this one (I think it was 3.810) was used less power to run. Keep up the good work. I really like it. Greetz, Jeroen

That could be sys independent. But from what i've heard and seen in my own experience the WMD got very good handling of the energy consumption. The WMD isn't with office 2010 from default but the 28217 I will release does have the office 2010 from 23518

Okay, comments work again! Here my vote for 28217! Any statement when to expect the clean rom? About the power consumption, I think if its not the sys as you state, then it is the x2 manager. Currently I use 28205 WITHOUT this and have super savings, including ram usage.

x2 manager? what manager, panel manager or task manager? Don't think this will make any difference atleast it's much better then the original x1 one. No eta for the next rom at the moment. I'm still testing and will use it for about a day to be kind of sure that it's bug free. Release could be tomorrow but I can't promise that

Sounds good! And I was talking about the panel manager. I think this was the only thing you changed besides the updated sys. And the available ram rose from about 43% to 53 and above! And once over 55%, it never came down but increased to more then 60%. And yes I know you say it will never run out of memory. But for me I think why taking up all this memory when it is not actually even needed. On the other side, it 'feels' really good to have rather 50% ram in reserve then less than 30% ;-)

Article updated, even more sys leaks!!!! @michaelthemage: I don't think it's because of the panelmanager. You can check this with the wm taskmanager. But the memory could change from build to build. When changing to another branche the difference could be huge.

Hi, Just a passing comment, but I have had a fwe crashes on my X1 since loading the 4.001 ROM. Nearly completely reset the device! But main disappearing act was messages and calender events (gone!). Maybe, just maybe the outlook in office 2010 is not as stable as should be?? Or maybe the freeze/crash took place when PIM backup was trying to do a scheduled backup.. Fast and stable would be good.. :o)

vote for 28223, the latest one~ stable is the first choice, fast is the secondary!

@ctcnetwork: office 2010 and outlook isn't the same. It's a seperate app in windows mobile. It's not like it's on the pc. So office can't have anything to do with sms message crashes. I'm running a 28223 sys on my own device now and it's fast:)

I also vote for the 28223. I have good experiences with the old 28205 and I like the fastness :)
