First ROM that crapped on me! After flashing, customizing some basic settings, a restart never ended! The SE logo came up and continuously restarted itself. Very, very bad...! I am now reflashing it but if this happens again, back to a 28x build for me. By the way, now the clean ROM has a whopping 3(!) task managers. For me it seems overkill. Okay, second flash just finished. Let's see...

That hasn't to do with the rom but your internal flash. Try mtty if it doesn't work or give problems. Btw why 3 task managers? just 2 right?

X2 T Manager, Ark and Ameba = 3 ? I think it is Ameba that gives problems. Is there a way to disable this? on the other hand, who needs 2 t managers anyways? I thought you were just trying out which to keep. This mmtask manager you mentioned once is actually great. Much better then Ark, perhaps you want to try the new version 1.8 on his website to see for yourself ;-) And I always clear internal flash by flashing original X1 and mtty! Now on second round I had it crash twice and often just hangs for a while. And I am not even finished putting in my personal settings (no programs installed yet!). By the way, the date in SE panel (appointments) is still reversed. Will see how it does in the next day or so. And again: High Five for your new layout!!!!!! Just a question: will you ever create a clean rom with 28xxx again?

dear christian, my friend i need yr help. my problem is this: my volume key is dead so in this way i cant re-flash any new rom i used to flash by boot loader.exe. last upgrade on my x1 i forgot and make task29 (hard reset) in this way my x1 now has no rom in it and i cant flash any other rom. my question is, IS THERE ANY WAY TO BE ABLE TO FLASH OTHER ROM OR RVEN TO GET THE TRICOLOR SCREEN< PLEASE ITS URGENT. for now my x1 all is dead and am not able to flash any rom. please please please find me a way to fix this problem am desperate, advise me and ill do any thing you suggest. thanks in advanced. best darkylight

@michael: If you see ameba as an taskmanager you're right but I don't since I just use the position fix and it doesn't even have a GUI to close an switch apps. But maybe you're right that one could be removed. Will look into this for the next rom. Maybe even replace if the one you mention is really that good. Does it has something like arkswitch to open it from the top bar everywhere in the rom? Then about your WMD branche(28***) question. The problem is I haven't seen roms in this branch for the last few months so maybe it's even abandoned? I could be wrong about this correct me if i'm wrong. @darkylight: I can't think about a solution at the moment for you. Almost everything that could be done is disabled because of the dead volume key and no access to activesync connection through the rom. Maybe over at xda you can find something. Sorry

I haven't heard of a new 28x either, it is just when it ever comes available again.... ;-) This mmtask manager has this now and more. The guy really made some upgrades! It has no panel fix (but this ameba did not fix my panels in the latest rom either!) but it has the position fix for programs and it works! His thread on xda was closed but his wesite had the new versions anyways.

Uhm when a new WMD branch build comes out I will look into it oke? For the mmtask, maybe it's good enough last time I tried it was to early for every day use but it's worth another try. Thanks for the advice!

Denk dat het te maken heeft met de htc album die alleen de benodigde files voor sense heeft. Ik zou het eerlijk gezegd niet weten.

Hey Christian, je site is netjes geworden. Ik had alleen wel wat dingetjes met deze ROM. Krijg soms een bericht als ik naar Panels ga over dat er niet genoeg modules vrij zijn ofzo? Me batterij was ineens 40% gezakt, weet niet waarom. En de Windows balk zit voor de Sense balk, dus kan de iconen niet zien. Voor de rest werkt hij prima.

Hello Christian. My general observation is ROM 5.120 seems to be much more faster than ROM 5.230. ROM 5.230 seems to be much more sluggish. It also frooze on me when I sent SMS and received the delivery notification. Also, are the programs in Multimedia and Tools folder necessary? I assume they take up storage memory. In my opinion, the once that are not necessary can be taken out to give more memory space for faster execution. Thanks again for the ROM. Drex

wit scherm bij installeren, problemen met installatie elke keer dat hij start. En hij heeft het nog niet langer dan 6 uur uitgehouden. Ik raad een oudere versie aan.

@drex: no they are not necessary @jannoi: dat witte scherm is geen probleem. Ik weet niet waar het vandaan komt maar je moet gewoon even wachten en dan is het allemaal goed en zie je het nooit meer terug

Ik kan sinds de laatste paar updates niet meer automatisch email instellingen ophalen. Weet je een oplossing? Je levert trouwens goed werk, mn X1 werkt met jouw roms een heel stuk beter!! Thanx.

Prima werk! bleef op mijn X1 jammer genoeg telkens hangen... Maar geen nood, de 3810 doet het ook prima.

@michiel: ik weet het niet, krijg je een foutmelding of wat gebeurd er precies?

@Michiel: Heb dat probleem ook gehad, tenminste met Gmail. Maak je gebruik van pushmail, of de gewone imap? Bij mij ging het syncen met google vroeg of laat mis en kreeg ik foutmeldingen. Ben nu weer terug naar imap en dat werkt vooralsnog uitstekend. (gebruik nu ROM 5.000) Als je een beetje zoekt op google, kom je veel fora tegen waar deze problemen besproken worden. Succes!

Christian ik zoek een rom die moet werken op mijn x1 met elke rom die ik geprobeerd heb tot nu toe krijg ik een update fail etc. kun jij mij hiermee verder helpen danku...

@nihanny: uhm heb je hard-spl wel eerst geinstalleerd?

Ik krijg de melding dat de instellingen niet online te vinden zijn. Maar met sommige roms kan hij ze wel vinden. Ik gebruik DDS als email en dan instellen via overig. Verder zitten er in rom 5.230 wat meer 'foutjes' als in de vorige.

Hey, Het lukt me niet om het Sence panel op te starten. Telkens als ik hem wil activeren blijft het scherm hangen. Ik kan dan alleen nog maar terug via de Panel toets. Enig idee? Had het bij de vorige Rom ook.

Het werkte op de originele rom en ook op een paar van jouw roms. Alleen bij de laatste twee niet. Ik heb het meerdere keren geprobeerd, ook na opnieuw opstarten...

Hoi allemaal, Hij werkt perfect ,totdat ik mijn internetinstellingen heb ingevoerd en de gsm vraagt voor opnieuw op te starten. Hierna start ie niet meer verder op dan het startscherm van Xperia.....

Hallo allemaal. Ik heb een x1 en die wou ik flashen. nu is dat niet helemaal goed gegaan. Hij wil niet meer opstarten, hij blijft gewoon in het begin scherm staan van sony ericson. een harde reset helpt ook niet meer! Wat te doen???

Op het moment dat de telefoon niet meer opstart en hij op het sony ericsson blijft hangen kan je opnieuw flashen via volume omlaag en power en dan aansluiten via usb op de pc en flashen of via micro sd methode. Als die niet werkt moet je je telefoon eens formatteren via mtty of task29 en dan opnieuw flashen dan zou alles opgelost meoten zijn

@michiel: probeer het eens handmatig in te vullen ik weet niet waar het aan zou kunnen liggen.

hoi christian, ik heb sinds vanmorgen een probleem, gisteren had ik weer een vastloper met de nieuwste rom. hierna heb ik mijn telefoon opnieuw opgestart en kreeg ik na het windows mobile 6.5 scherm een wit scherm en gebeurde er niks, hierna heb ik hem nog een keer opnieuw opgestart en toen gebeurde er weer niks en dacht ik laat ik maar eens een kwartiertje wachten. maar weer niks. vanmorgen weer geprobeerd maar toen kreeg ik een zwart scherm waarin stond dat de telefoon niet correct was afgesloten of ik een niet legitieme versie van windows gebruikte. sinds die melding gaat de telefoon elke keer uit als hij even in het windows mobile 6.5 scherm is geweest. wat kan ik nu doen om dit te maken? groet henk
